Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWIN BEAR Suddenly on December 22, 2000 Edwin (Wee Wee) Bear, born September 4, 1962, left us at the age of 38 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Ethel of 15 years; step daughters, Lisa (Gerald) Semple, Bonnie (Michael) Dmyterko and Princess Emelia Semple; his special step grandsons, Jonah and Garron; brother Conway Bear; mother-in-law Emma Semple; brothers-in-law, Hughie (Stella), Lindsay (Brenda), Colin (Melanie), Gerald (Carol Lee), Oliver (Farrah) sisters-in-law, Lorraine (Irvine) Ross, Jean (Russel) Franklin, Joyce (Gerald), Betty (Blake) Schwarz, Angela (Greg), Florence (Al) special friends, Brian Goosehead; cousin Wallace Bear; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Edwin was employed by Berens River First Nation as a night watchman for nine years. His favourite star personality was Elvis Presley and was therefore nicknamed Elvis. He was an avid hockey player goalie for Berens River Bullets. Edwin was a very quiet and gentle person. He was predeceased by his mother Victoria Bear in 1966; father-in-law William Semple in 1987 and grandparents, John and Mary Bear. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, Thursday, December 28 and Friday, December 29 at Semple Arcade, Berens River. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Berens River United Church with Rev. Roy Bouchie officiating. Interment to follow at the Berens River Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dana Swain, Remus Berens, Wallace Bear, Edgar Bear, Kelly Bear and Hector Swain. There are many honorary pallbearers. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 724 Selkirk Avenue 586-7700
