RENE DIONNE Suddenly on December 28, 2000, Rene passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 17 years. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Leon and Linda; sisters, Kristen and Andrea; grandfather Andre; stepgrandmother Celanire; special aunt Lorna; uncles, David, Brian (Debbie), Glen Reeves, Jerome, Robert (Raymonde), Roland (Claudette) Dionne and as well as numerous cousins and friends; predeceased by his grandparents Jack and Joan Reeves and Cecile Dionne. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2001, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. with prayers being said at 2:30 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Cremation is to follow and a private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances of Rene can be made to the Childrens Hospital of Winnipeg, Research Foundation Inc., 117 - 685 William Ave., Winnipeg, Man.
