GENE ISBISTER 1979 - 2000 On December 22, 2000 at 4:20 a.m., we regret that Gene passed on and has left us. Gene has gone back home to live with God. He was a very special boy and God has called him back to take on another role. Gene was an inspiration to all of us. Even while dealing with heart surgery and kidney problems, he managed to graduate from John Taylor Collegiate in 2000 and had started working at Westwood Vocational where he had made many new friends. His affection towards others touched many who came in contact with him. He was a true spirit of life enduring whatever came his way. Perhaps he loved wrestling so much because he courageously struggled with many mental and physical disabilities throughout his life. Special thanks are extended to the ICU at Grace Hospital and at the Health Sciences Centre. Left to mourn are Sharon and Ken Watts, the Watts family and special friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 31 at 2:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 825 School Rd. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Childrens Hospital Research Foundation.
