EUGENIE VINCENT (nee CHEVREFILS) Suddenly on Thursday, December 28, 2000, at the age of 85 years, Eugenie Vincent (nee Chevrefils), passed away at the Pine Falls Hospital. Predeceased by her parents; six brothers; eight sisters; her beloved husband Alphonse (1977) infant son Noel-Alcide (1941) son Marcel (1998) son-in-law Roger Beaudette (1998) one grandson and one great-granddaughter. Left behind to mourn her loss are her children, Albert (Anita) of 100 Mile House, B.C., Agnes (Edward) Deurbrouck, Hector, Helene Beaudette, Dorothee Dupuis, Maurice (Brenda) all of Winnipeg; Jean (Ginette) of St. Georges, Yves (Johanne) of Ste-Martin P.Q.; daughter-in-law Anita Vincent of Powerview; 25 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, six sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces. Eugenie was born on October 2, 1915 in St. Georges, Man. where she lived all her life. She married Alphonse Vincent on February 19, 1936. She was a devoted wife and mother and cherished her family and guided them all with patience and understanding. The memory of her spirit and kindness will forever live in the hearts of her loved ones. In her latter years she spent many hours doing embroidery and knitting, she especially enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren and never missed the opportunity to play a game of Aggravation. Funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at the Parish church in St. Georges, Man. Prayer service and viewing will take place at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Fr. Rejean Belanger will celebrate the funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Pine Falls Hospital and the emergency medical respondents for their care. A special thank-you to Cecile, her home care worker.
