Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD ALEXANDER COLDWELL Peacefully on December 23, 2000, Don Coldwell passed away at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his sister Beth Fabro, his father Perry, his mother Mary and his grandson Cameron Mackenzie. Don will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Joyce; daughters, Gayle (Ron) Mackenzie, Joy (John) Orsini; brothers, Roy (Isabel), Bill (Ruth) sisters, Edith (Norm) Whipple, Judy (Bob) Bilak; grandchildren, great-grandson, many nieces, nephews, friends and his adopted family, Harry and Michele Schriemer and their children. Don spent over 41 years working for Air Canada and retired in 1985 from his position as General Superintendent of the Power Plant in Montreal. Don was known for his cheerfulness, he could always be heard either singing or whistling, and Don seemed to have a knack of befriending everyone he met. Cremation has already taken place and interment will be at a later date. A private service for the family was given by Pastor Larry Hirst at the Riverview Health Centre. The family wishes to thank Dr. DeGroot and all the staff from the 3 East ward at Riverview Heath Centre for the compassion and care they gave Don and his family. Flowers are gracefully declined, however if you so wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
