ROSALIND (LINDA) WALL It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosalind Wall, our mom and grandma, on December 25, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre. Mom was born in Winnipeg on March 1, 1913, to Frank and Mary Hrabi - the "baby" of the family. She attended William Whyte and St. Johns High Schools. While mom was working at Eatons Mail Order, she met the love of her life, Ernie, and they were married on August 17, 1940, spending 52 years together. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ernie (December 23, 1992) her brothers, Jack and Ted Robbie and her sister Elizabeth Maunder. Mom leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her daughters, Rosemary and special friend Ved (Vic) Nandwani, Elaine and son-in-law Wayne Hudson; her very special and much loved granddaughters, Alison and Melanie Hudson; her sister Josephine Danzinger; her sister-in-law Edna Robbie and nieces and nephews (who will fondly remember their Auntie "Doll"). Mom was a very loving, caring person with a sense of humour and a heart of gold. She always had a smile for everyone. She enjoyed playing cribbage and doing crossword puzzles (to keep the "old" mind working). At moms request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Our family would like to thank the staff on the third floor of the Deaf Centre Personal Care Home for their care over the last six months, the Emergency Department at the Seven Oaks Hospital, especially Dr. Eyolfson, Dr. Abbott, and nurse Evelyn, the staff on GA5 Health Sciences Centre, especially nurses Paolo and Marina and Dr. C. Yaffe. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3, or the Rainbow Society, 302 - 171 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 1M4. Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa and little buddy Barney, together again forever. Until we meet again. Love you. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
