MIKE NATYNA It is with great sadness we announce the passing of husband, father and papa on Friday, December 29, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Dad was predeceased by his father John; brother Peter and brother-in-law Martin Skiba. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Dolores of 41 years; his children, Charlene (Glen), Geoffrey (Nancy), Gerald and granddaughter Jill, Papas pride and joy. Dad is also survived by his mother Mary; siblings, Tony (Pearl), Paul (Denise), Eva Skiba, Cathy (Vern) Camp, Donald (Gail), Susanne and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and many friends. Dad was born in Fraserwood, September 27, 1934, married Dolores Dutchak, November 7, 1959 and resided in Winnipeg. Dad worked at Supercrete (Lafarge) for 42 years as a dispatcher. Due to health reasons Dad was unable to continue work. Dad loved to travel and the best part was the planning. Aside from the time he cherished spending with family and friends, he loved fishing and bowling. Dad had a special fondness for Ukrainian music and dance. He was passionate in expressing ideas and feelings that were close to his heart. For all the understanding words youve spoken, the special patience that youve always had, the promises youve made and never broken, for all that you have given, thank you Dad. We love you and will miss you so very, very, much. He encouraged people he loved to follow their dream. He believed that the most important part of his life was his relationships with his wife and his children. He will be missed and the love we have for him will never fade but only increase as it is shared by those that loved him. Thanks also to Dr. Lipson and staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their care and devotion given to Dad. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or Diabetes Foundation, 1114-233 Kennedy St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J5.
