EINAR CARL SUTHERLAND Peacefully on December 29, 2000, Einar Carl Sutherland passed away at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home. He leaves to mourn his wife Florence; sons, Garry (Jayne), Brian, Ken (Diane) daughters, Elaine (Syd Robak), Carole (Robert Guy) grandchildren, Kris, (Kelly), Kara, Becky, Lindi, Melissa, Renee, Erik, Darryl, Jason and Liam; also one great-grandson Brenden; sister-in-law Jessie; brother-in-law George Fisher (Evelyn) and many nieces and nephews. Einar was predeceased by his parents, Erik and Lydia; brother Edwin; sisters, Annie, Astrid and Lillian; daughter-in-law Sherry. Einar was born September 12, 1917 in Eriksdale and married Florence Foster on March 12, 1945. He spent all his life on the Sutherland farm. He enjoyed the outdoors - farming, hunting and trapping. He was very much a family man and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre in Eriksdale, MB with Reverend Melanie Kauppila officiating. Service will conclude at the hall. The family wishes to thank Dr. Burnet, Dr. Styne, Dr. Raath, the staff at E.P.C.H. and E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for all the care they gave Einar. Also many thanks to Everet Sidwall for his many visits to Einar with his greetings in Swedish.
