ADELAIDE E. BARTLETT Adelaide E. "Addie" Bartlett, 85, of Chillicothe, OH, passed from this life Monday, April 30, 2001, following an extended illness. She was born August 15, 1915, in Winnipeg, Canada, the daughter of Alexander and Lily Levinia Taylor John. On June 22, 1938, she married Alan C. Bartlett who preceded her death September 19, 1974. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Eugene Simerl, Chillicothe; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan Cameron and Betty Bartlett, Lancaster, CA; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a sister Evelyn Davidson, Winnipeg, Canada and a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Les Cringan, Murrieta, CA. Her parents, a granddaughter Kelly and a sister Grace Hattie preceded her in death. Mrs. Bartlett was a retired floral designer and was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Chillicothe. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home, 77 East Fifth St., Chillicothe, with Fr. Richard Terry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 33 W. Main St., Chillicothe, OH, 45601.
