FREDERICK JOHN KENT The family wishes to announce the passing of Fred Kent on December 30, 2000 who will go to join his parents Edward and Mary Jane Kent (nee Henderson). Fred is survived by his wife Priscilla; children Edna Johnston, John, Linda (Robert) Henderson and Gordon as well as 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren; sister Irene LaForte and a brother Art Kent as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Fred was predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary Jane Kent; brothers Clarence, Charley, Matthew, Stanley and by sisters Nancy and Sarah as well as his children Earl, Fred Jr., Brenda, Barbara and grandson Bernett. Wake services will be held at the Christ Church Anglican beginning December 31. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. also from Christ Church Anglican, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba with Rev. Andrew Sinclair and Rev. Nancy Bruyere officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons John, Keith, Gerald, Jason, Brenton, Brian, Barry and Eddy. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care, kindness and extraordinary thoughts extended to our father, grandfather and brother during his recent period of hardship. We would especially like to thank the entire Staff of the George M. Guimond Care Centre and personally to Dr. Nieman of the Pine Falls Hospital. A special thank you to Linda Twoheart and Rose Guimond who prepared meals for our family, your kindness will not be forgotten.
