Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH ANNE McIVER Elizabeth Anne McIver passed away January 2, 2001 at the Boyne Lodge, Carman, MB. Elizabeth was born at Hoople, North Dakota May 30, 1909. She lived in North Dakota and California, moving to Carman when she was a young girl. She attended Normal School in 1931 and taught school in a number of rural schools before moving to Morden. In 1945, after the death of her father, she came back to Carman and taught Grade 3 in Carman until her retirement in 1974. Elizabeth was a former member of Easter Lily Rebekah Lodge, Young Citizens Group, a former Sunday School teacher and United Church Women member. Elizabeth was predeceased by her father in 1945; by her mother in 1960 and by her brother James in 1994. Elizabeth leaves to mourn her passing her good friend Mary McGregor of Carman; a cousin Neil Wiechman of Oak Bluff and a cousin Flora McLeay of St. George, Ontario. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Thursday, January 4, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Boyne Lodge, Box 1644, Carman, MB,, R0G 0J0, or to the Carman United Church Building Fund, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
