Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE LOGAN MacLEAN (nee MILLER) Peacefully, at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Toronto on Saturday, December 30, 2000 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late George Barton MacLean; cherished mother to Donald and Heidi of Ottawa, and daughter Elspeth Shtern and husband David of Toronto; adored grandmother to Jeremy and Laura Shtern, and Craig and Elizabeth MacLean. She is dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Ian, Cathy and Jim (deceased) Macdonald; Brenda and Bob (deceased) Brand; Allan and Marjorie French; Donna-Sue Ferrie and Pat Swanson; and their families. Born August 10, 1912 in Crystal City, MB, she was predeceased by her beloved parents Rev. James Miller and Catherine Logan Miller, and by her sisters, Marjorie (Deb) Brand, Nancy Macdonald, and Enid French, all of Winnipeg. A graduate of the University of Manitoba (class of 1932), Kay enriched the lives of everyone she met, and her devotion to her family and community will be long remembered by family and friends. Direct cremation. Memorial service to be held at ST. ANDREWS RIVER HEIGHTS UNITED CHURCH in Winnipeg at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2001. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Kays name would be appreciated.
