Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED JESCHKE Suddenly, on January 2, 2001, our beloved husband and father Fred Jeschke was called home. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 38 years, Sylvia (Smaha) his children, Pat (Glenn) Constable, Holly (Darryl) Kopp, Jason (Rachel) Jeschke. Gramps will also be sadly missed by Jessica, Mitchell, Landon and Lexie; his sister Ellie (Horst) Herrmann of Surrey, BC. Born on November 14, 1939 in Sadelberg, East Germany, Fred moved to Canada as a young boy. He was kind, loving, and compassionate, he gave these gifts generously to his wife and children. Perhaps he will be most remembered for his love of life. He taught us by example how to live. He not only coached, but was actively involved in many sports, first soccer and hockey and then an insatiable love of golf. An autobody man by trade, Fred fulfilled his golf dream by designing and building his very own golf course, The Lorette Golf Course, in his spare time. Always looking for a challenge, Fred went on to pursue a bigger dream when he purchased land near Lac du Bonnet and developed the Granite Hills Golf Course. Fred didnt get to finish his big project before he was called home for something of greater importance. Moving out to Lac du Bonnet was a dream come true, as he loved the great outdoors and his hunting and fishing. Before Lorette, Fred was a member of the St. Boniface Golf Course, Charleswood United Soccer team, The MB Golf Course Superintendents Association, the Lord Roberts, and Valley Garden Centurions Old Timers Hockey teams. He will be truly missed by his many friends and relatives. Prayers will be said on Saturday, January 6 at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of the Resurrection in Notre Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lorette, MB, with M. labbe Maurice Jeanneau presiding. Cremation will follow mass. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Freddies memory to the Youth Ministry at Notre Dame de Lorette Parish, Box 40, Lorette, MB R0A 0Y0. "We love you and miss you so very much. You will always be with us in our hearts." GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
