Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURA TOSHIKO FURUKAWA It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister, aunt and niece on January 2, 2001. Laura will be lovingly remembered by her brother Richard; sister Donna Walthall of San Diego; brother Ken; niece Kimiko of San Diego and nephew Harrison of Vancouver, BC; aunt Sally Shikaze and uncle Tom Kato. She was predeceased by her parents, Hideo and Kimiko Furukawa. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6 at Manitoba Buddhist Church, 825 Winnipeg Avenue. Its been many years since I went to school with Laura but she was one of those kinds of people that you always enjoyed talking to. Laura always had a smile on her face and would never walk by without saying hi or stopping to chat.
