MARY REUTHER On January 2, 2001 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 87 years. Mary was born and raised in Winnipeg and was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Brookland and Weston Legion No. 2. Mary was predeceased by her husband Fred; daughter Marylyn; brother George and sister Cathrine. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Skip (Louise), Michael (Marlene) as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and two brothers, David and Bruce. Mary spent a lot of leisure time with many friends and family at the cottage at Ingolf, Ontario. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, Fred, Frank, Gordon, Grant, Reid, and her great-grandson Kevin. At Marys request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1567 William Avenue, on Monday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Garrity officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6.
