MATTHEW PAULEY MANDEVILLE It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Matthew, on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at the Childrens Hospital. Matthew leaves to mourn his mother Christine; grandmother Martha; sister Jennifer (Scott) brother Jay (Jodi) grandparents, Leo and Lucille and numerous relatives, neighbours, friends and caregivers. Matthew was born June 2, 1990 to Christine Pauley and Roch Mandeville. He attended St. Amant Day Care for his preschool years and was currently enrolled in Grade IV and the C.A.P. class at Dalhousie School. He had a real zest for life and enjoyed many activities especially cruising the neighbourhood on his tractor. Some of his favourite pastimes included watching movies, swimming, playing ball, singing and dancing. He had a heartwarming smile and a hello for everyone he met. Hugs, kisses and handshakes were his specialty. He truly touched the lives of everyone he met and our lives are better for having known him. Our special thanks to the Childrens Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and the Emergency Response Teams. A celebration of Matthews life will be held on Saturday, January 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St., with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Urn placement in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Matthews memory may be made to the Childrens Hospital Foundation, CE501 840 Sherbrook St., Wpg., MB, R3A 1S1, St. Amant Inc., 440 River Road, R2M 3Z9, or Manitoba Down Syndrome Society, 825 Sherbrooke St., R3A 1M5.
