RETA ALICE POUNDS PASCOE (nee TUSTIN) December 29, 1916 - December 29, 2000 Peacefully on her 84th birthday, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers, Reta Pascoe, wife of the late H. In her youth, Reta spent most of her free time racing at Sherbrook Pool where she won several gold medals and set Canadian Records. Her swimming continued during her seventy-five years at Grand Beach. Reta also enjoyed golfing, ten pin bowling and curling. Reta was very proud to be the Past Worthy Matron of Patricia Chapter #8, Order of the Eastern Star. Reta is survived by her four children, Lloyd (Leslie), Brian (Lynn), Carol (Bob Bell) and Lolly (Brian MacKenzie) all of Winnipeg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. At the request of the family a private service was held on Thursday, January 4, officiated by the Venerable Donna Ball of St. Albans Church. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of River East Personal Care Home for their dedicated care. Flowers gratefully declined.
