Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE STOCKBURN "POP" Passed away peacefully, at Victoria General Hospital, on Wednesday, January 3, 2001, with his family by his side. George was predeceased by his wife, Shirley and daughter Susan and leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ron (Joy), Rick (Helen), Randy, Debbie (Bill), Stephen, Tracy (Larry), Lindsay (Christie), Sherry and numerous grandchildren, relatives and friends. George was born in Winnipeg, April 5, 1915. He was employed as a Tinsmith, worked as a Master Painter at C.I.L. and as a Caretaking Supervisor at the University of Manitoba before he retired in 1981. He will also be fondly remembered by the many families of the Newdale Housing Complex where he was employed as a caretaker. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the 5th floor, Victoria General Hospital and to his good friend Rose. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January, 8, at 9:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Viewing one half hour prior to the Service. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
