CAROLINE WILDE ZIMMERMAN (nee VOGT) Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2001 in the Concordia Place Care Centre at the age of 84 years. Caroline was predeceased by her first husband Julius Wilde in 1975; second husband Gordon Zimmerman in 1997; brother Charles Vogt; sister-in-law Lena Vogt and brother-in-law Bert Janke. She is survived by her children, Marlene (Barrie) Kirkhope, Glenn (Jo-Al) Wilde, Wendy (John) Barnes; ten grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and sister Irene Janke and numerous nieces and nephews. Caroline was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed travelling and spending time at her summer home at Winnipeg Beach. Caroline especially loved people and was a friend to all. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolines memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of MB, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
