CARL HARRY TENOSKY On January 5, 2001, at the Riverview Health Care Centre, Carl Harry Tenosky, of Winnipeg, MB, husband of the late Mildred, father and grandfather of Stephen, Kim, Mark, Sarah, Kathy, Katie, Shannon and Anna. A prayer service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Monday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Deacon Michael Strilec officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot in Hillside Cemetery. Carl was born on March 24, 1918, son of Harry and Mary Tenosky at Portage la Prairie, MB. He worked at C.P. Rail for 43 years retiring in 1983. He was an active member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Union and the Canadian Order of Foresters. After his retirement, he was involved with the Selkirk Avenue Seniors Centre. He enjoyed his grandchildren, shared his garden with family and friends, and was a well-loved benefactor to numerous family pets. In his memory, take a walk in the forest, adopt a stray animal, or take your loved ones to lunch. God saw you getting tired, He knew you needed rest; His garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best."
