SARAH JANE LEMIEUX December 28, 1942 - January 5, 2001 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, and grandmother, Sarah "Suzie" Jane Lemieux on Friday, January 5, 2001 at age 58. Suzie was predeceased by her father Paul Jackson in 1971; mother Ada Jackson in 2000 and her brother Hank Jackson in 1997. Suzie is survived by her husband, Fred Lemieux Sr.; five sons, Kenneth (Diane), Robert, Ralph (Lulu), Allan (Kim), Fred Jr. (Marie) seven brothers and sisters, Mary Hickman, Florence Zemmer, Betty Britz, Elmar Jackson, Mattie Pilgrim, Debbie Stuart, Alice Owens and 14 grandchildren. Suzie was born in Arkansas and moved to Canada in 1962, when she met and married Fred Sr. They resided in Somerset for many years and then moved to their current residence in Morden. One of Suzies many joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, playing Uno and going with Fred Sr. for coffee whenever she could. Suzie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held Monday (today) at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden. Ash disposition will take place at a later date in Arkansas. Special thanks to the Morden Ambulance Crew, Doctors and Staff at Morden Hospital for their quick and responsive care. Also to the Doctors and Staff of the St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
