Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDRED ANNE LAMOUREUX It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother on January 5, 2001. Mom left us one day short of her 80th birthday with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Ida Magwood and her older sisters, Marie Gordon and Billie Magwood. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Brian (Gerrie) Smith, Laurie (Tom) Oleson, Dave Smith, Shelley Law, Iris Smith, Bobbie Miller; special daughter Marie Ottenbreit and special son Rob Brownridge. Along with her children, she will be missed by grandchildren, Michael, Kelly, Ryan, Justin, David, Cherie, Kristofer, Jennifer, Jesse, Kaitlyn, Gerrie, Susie and great-granddaughters, Ashlee and Emma; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was born on the family farm in Hartney on January 6, 1921, moving to Winnipeg when she was seven, where she had resided ever since. Aside from raising a large family, she found time to spend approximately 15 years working for the T. Eaton Co., and bowling in a mixed league in Fort Garry with her sister and many friends in the neighbourhood. She and her sister Billie were active in the field of music; both were accomplished singers and musicians. They performed regularly on the radio station CJRC. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, Jehovahs Witnesses, 60 Cadboro Road (Waverley Heights). The family would like to thank Dr. Scurrah and the Intensive Care Unit at the Victoria Hospital for all their support. Also a special thank you to Norma and Judy who were very important to Mom. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. "Well miss you, Mom" NEIL BARDAL INC 949-2200
