ROY LAMIRANDE It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law and friend, after a lengthy illness on Monday, January 8, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Roy was predeceased by his mother Rita in January 1990; his grandparents, Katherine and Lawrence Lamirande; Olivine and Medor Normand and his father-in-law Aime Trudel. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Renee (Trudel) son Trent and daughter Aimee and family pet Breezy; his father Emile; his brothers, Victor (Sharon), Larry (Lynne) as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Roy was born September 29, 1954 in St. Vital, where he resided till his death. He was employed by the St. Vital School Division for over 20 years. Roy will be remembered as a very warm and caring person who always put the needs of others before his own. His kindness and words of wisdom as well as his good sense of humor is a legacy he leaves behind for his family and all who knew him. Prayers of Remembrance and Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m.in St. Timothy Church, 135 John Forsyth Rd. with Reverend Fr. Gerry Ward, presiding. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the Health Sciences Centre Cancer Care Unit for all their support.
