Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES PERSOAGE Peacefully, on January 8, 2001, Frances Persoage passed away at the Teulon Goodwin Lodge. Mom was born in Komarno, MB on June 12, 1909 to Paul and Tekla Smegelski. She was predeceased by her husband Alex on September 10, 1989; and by her sisters, Anne Gadomski, January, 1989, Mary Krewski, September, 1995, Pauline Broder, March, 2000; brothers, John P. Smith, March, 1989 and Peter Smith, April, 1995. She is survived by her daughter Irene of Winnipeg, son Edward and wife Lois of Teulon, daughter Alice of Winnipeg; granddaughters, Kimberley Moore of Edmonton, Kelley and husband Aryan Farrokhi of North Vancouver, Lesley and husband Robert Philippot of Stonewall, grandson Michael and wife Christine of Teulon; great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Tianna Philippot, Alex and Brianne Persoage, Megan Farrokhi. Moms door was always open for a chat, cup of coffee, some goodies and her delicious homemade bread. She loved her garden, flowers, playing cards, knitting and sewing quilts. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel Teulon. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 11 in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel Teulon. Rev. Fr. S. Gacek will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Stephens Cemetery, Pleasant Home. Pallbearers will be Jim Persoage, Dennis Persoage, Richard Persoage, Michael Persoage, John Kadyniuk and Walter Glowachuk. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at Goodwin Lodge for their kindness and special care. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Goodwin Lodge, Box 89, Teulon, MB R0C 3B0.
