ELIZABETH WOOD Peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2001 Mrs. Elizabeth Wood, aged 82 years, of Manigotagan, Man. passed away at the Pine Falls Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Howard (Janette), Larry (Lannette), Roland (Heather), Elden (Norma) daughters, Thelma (Charlie), Betty (Aldon), Lillian (Delmar), Mildred (Wilmer), Bernice (Tom), Nettie (Albert), Natalie (Najeeb) 44 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John E. C. Wood and her three sons, Irvin, Vernon and Lester. Wake services will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday January 9 and 10 at the Manigotagan Recreational Centre. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Manigotagan Recreational Centre with Rev. Nancy Bruyere presiding. Interment will follow at the Anglican Parish Cemetery. MOM You can only have one mother, Loving, kind and true. No other friend in all the world, Will be so true to you. For all her love and kindness, She asked for nothing in return. If all the world deserted me, To my mother I would turn. For those of you who have a mother, Treasure her with care. For you will never know her value, Till you see that she is not there. To hear her voice, to see her smile, To sit and talk with her awhile, To be together in the same old way, Would be my dearest wish today.
