MARY CHERBINO Mary passed away peacefully on January 7, 2001 at the age of 91 years at Central Park Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Orest in 1954; her two sisters; one brother and her son-in-law John Blanchard in 1977. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Gloria Blanchard; grandchildren, John (Jan), Michael (Bernadette) and Larry (Tracey) and great-grandchildren, Colin, Tara, and Crystal. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Sam, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and many special friends. Mary loved to cook and bake for her family. Her spaghetti dinners and pies were always special to her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as a loving and generous soul, and will be missed by all who knew her. Marys family would like to thank all the staff on the 3rd floor at Central Park Lodge for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations in Marys name may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
