Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCORNELIUS FRIESEN Sunday, January 7, 2001, Cornelius Friesen of Winnipeg and formerly of Altona, MB passed away peacefully at the Donwood Manor Care Home in Winnipeg after a short illness, at the age of 90 years. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Neufeld) in 1996. He leaves to mourn his son Ernie and his wife Janice of Winnipeg. He is survived by two brothers, Pete and Died (Agnes) and five sisters, Sue (Neufeld), Nita (Braun), Anne (Schroeder), Mary (Peters), Margaret (Enns). He was predeceased by his brothers, Dave and John; and sisters, Eva (Friesen), Tina (Peters), and Helen (Carriere). The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Wiebe Funeral Home Altona in Altona, MB with Rev. Bob Stark officiating. Interment will follow in the Altona Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to the nursing staff of Donwood Personal Care Home (Two North) for making our father as comfortable as possible and for their sincere and thoughtful words in this most difficult time.
