MARGARET KLEIN Margaret Klein, born May 30, 1934, left our world peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2001. Margaret (Mashe to her family) was a warm, loving person. Her kindness touched the hearts of all who met her. Mashe was born in Winnipeg, living most of her life in the house on Burrows Avenue. It was the home she was raised in and the home in which she raised her own children, David, Cherie, Martin and Hal. It was a home of kindness, of love and of fond memories. It was a home that saw many visitors, family and friends, each bringing something special to Mashes life and each receiving something special in return. Mashe is survived by her four children who mourn their loss profoundly. Mashe will be deeply missed by her surviving sister Eleanor Levin and brother-in-law Dr. Manly Levin, both of whom provided friendship and support to Mashe throughout her life. She will be deeply missed as well by her daughters-in-law, Gerri Klein and Amy Klein; her grandchildren, Alison, Michael, Aaron, Jessica and Aden and her nieces and nephews and their families. Services will be at the Chesed Shel Emes, 1023 Main St., on Friday, January 12, at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at the Shaarey Zedek Memorial Park and a consolation reception at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. Margarets family thanks the staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the Palliative Care team at Riverview Hospital for the care and kindness they extended to Margaret in her final days. We also thank Barbara Bilodeau and her staff for their years of friendship and compassion.
