FREDERICKA (FREDA) BOLETTA KOWCH (nee OVERBY) (December 23, 1913 - January 10, 2001 Freda passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at the Grace Hospital, and formerly of Lions Manor, Winnipeg. She is survived by daughter Thelma and husband Manfred of Chilliwack, B.C.; son Oscar and wife Joyce of Winnipeg; daughter-in-law Rosie Kowch and son-in-law David Boklaschuk. Four grandchildren, Louise Kowch, Warren, Kathleen (husband Leonard and son Jeremy) and Bryan; two brothers, Robert (Ellen) and Otto (Helen) two sisters, Opal (Anton) Hartman and Ragna (Lawrence) Bezo and numerous nieces and nephews. Freda was predeceased by her parents; one brother Oscar killed in action during the Second World War; four brothers, Arthur, Bernt, Ernest, Knut; sister Hilda; son Barry in 1968; husband John in 1991; son Oliver in June, 1998 and daughter Maisie in March, 1999. Neil Bardal Cremation Services in charge. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to your favourite charity. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon in remembrance of Freda to be held on Saturday, January 13 at 12:30 p.m. at Lions Manor, 320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg. We look forward to seeing you.
