BARBARA THELMA MacLEAN (nee BIRD) Suddenly, on January 9, 2001, Barbara MacLean, beloved wife of Don, passed away. Barbara will be sadly missed by her loving husband Don; children, Allison and Donnie; mother Thelma Bird; brothers, Brian (Judy), Randy (Marilyn), Doug (Marlene) and sister Kim (Michel) Perron; mother and father-in-law Don and Doreen MacLean; brother-in-law Neil and sister-in-law Cheryl Ann; nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends, neighbours and special friends Kim and Steve Stepien. She was predeceased by her father Cam Bird in December 26, 1992. Barbara was employed by the Winnipeg School Division #1, for the past eleven years, where she was a Teachers Aid and Food Co-ordinator and ran the Breakfast Program for the children of Shaughnessy Park School. She loved her job and looked forward every morning to seeing the children and knew them all by name. Barbara was tireless in her efforts to do for others and her family was everything to her. She especially loved to watch Donnie and Allisons soccer games. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Cliff McMillan officiating. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Barbaras memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
