Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE GALLAGHER It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Alice Gallagher on January 9, 2001 at the age of 77. She will be sadly missed by her sister Helen (Bert) of England. Also by her daughter Elizabeth (Donald) granddaughter Alison (David) grandson Alexander; great-grandsons, Mathew and Darian. Also nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Alice immigrated to Canada in 1966. She was proud of her help in building the spitfires in England during the Second World War and had many fond memories of the "War Years." She also loved to craft English country cottages from plastic canvas, ceramic and wood. Mom was a loving, giving person. We would like to thank the nurses on 2 West at Maples Personal Care Home for their care during her final years. Friends so wishing may make donations in Alices memory to the Alzheimers Society or to the charity of your choice as tokens of remembrance. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 12, at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements in care of: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
