FEDORA Di MARTINO (nee CRUGNALE) It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother on Wednesday, January 10, 2001, with her family at her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Fedora will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 41 years Antonio; her daughters, Nicoletta (George) Thomson and Liliana (friend Darcy). She also leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved granddaughters, her little angels, Tiana and Liana. Fedora is also survived by her two sisters, Filomena (Oscar) Di Martino of Italy, Angela (Ettore) Di Martino of Australia; brothers-in-law, Vittorio (Guiseppina) Di Martino of Australia, Aldo (Lucia) Di Martino; and sister-in-law Maria (Federico) De Filippis, both of Winnipeg. She also leaves to cherish her memory many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Winnipeg, Italy and Australia. Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m., also at Holy Rosary Church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment to follow at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. Pallbearers will be Antonio Pietrantuono, Tony Ciancaglini, Mike Pietrano, Joey Russo, Tomas Wackerman and Darcy Berrington. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. L. Brandes for his dedication, during the past two and one-half years. We would also like to thank Sheila, Angela and the staff at GD4 of H.S.C. for their kindness and compassion during our most difficult time. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Fedora Di Martino may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in care of CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 Mom, we will always love you and miss you - and well always treasure and honour your memory - and try to follow the example you set for us, your loving family.
