PAUL EMILE BACON Passed away peacefully on December 25, 2000 at the Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. Paul was born in Saint Jean Baptiste, Man. on June 9, 1911. He was the sixth of nine children born to the late Alcide Bacon and Bernadette Antaya. He was predeceased by three sisters, one brother and is survived by four sisters. He was predeceased by his wife Marie-Ange Simard in 1940 and is survived by four children, Raymond (Jeannette), Rose-Marie (Fred Wall), Alma, Edouard (Sandy). He remarried in 1943 and was predeceased by his wife Lucille Carriere on April 22, 1999 and is survived by six other children, George (Marlie), Roger (Carla), Leo (Darlene), Therese (Dan Miller), Jeannette (Al Sturgeon), Suzanne (John Willson) 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Paul liked to make people laugh and was well known in Southern Manitoba for his humour. He had many natural talents in arts, crafts, carpentry and salesmanship. He never was one to complain about his aches and pains or any calamities that befell him through the years. Cremation has taken place. A private ceremony and burial will be held this spring in his birth province. Donations in his memory may be made to any Chapter of the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.
