Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) KEYSERS Born in Horst, Netherlands on December 9, 1918. He immigrated to Canada with his parents, brothers, Joe and John and sister Nellie in 1928. William attended Maitland School and then helped on the farm and worked for farmers in the Plumas area before moving to Winnipeg where he worked as a general labourer for many years. In December 1999 he became ill and spent some time in the Health Sciences Centre before moving to Central Park Lodge. On January 9th, he spent a day in the St. Boniface Hospital due to an illness, returning to Central Park Lodge where he passed away on Friday, January 12, 2001. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Joe and his Uncle Peter Verlinden. Left to mourn his passing is his brother John and wife Margaret Keysers of Plumas, Man., his sister Nellie and husband Leo Pawells of Amaranth, Man.; sister-in-law Eva Keyser of Plumas, Man.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2001 at Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone, Man. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Dominics Catholic Church, Neepawa, Man., with Father Chris Soeterboek officiating. Interment will follow in the Plumas Cemetery. Clarkes Funeral Home of Gladstone in care of arrangements.
