Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY JOHNSTONE (nee ZARN) On Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home in Lac du Bonnet, MB, Dorothy Johnstone aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Campbell Johnstone formerly of Mafeking, MB. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Edith McGregor, son Charles (Doris) Johnston, Ethel Cottrell (Albert), Dale Johnston (Marietta) grandchildren, Scott McGregor, Joanne (Brian) Schuman, their children, Kelly and Kyle, Cathy Fedierchuk (Gord), their children, Dallas and Brady, Lloyd (Sharon), their children, Leigh & Natasza, Mark, Brian Cottrell (Linda), Floyd Cottrell (Darlene), their children, Keith, Heather and Karen, Caroline Armstrong (Tim), Kenneth, his children, Kari, Marie, Kenneth Jr., Stephanie, Wayne, Ronald (Lana), their children, Tyler and Nicole, Carol Graham and daughter Courtney, Edward, as well as sister Edith Hopley and sister-in-law Ethel Zarn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Campbell in 1973; by her parents, John and Edith Zarn; five sisters, Bertha, Gladys, Mary, Rose and Evelyn and by two brothers, Arthur and Wilfred; son-in-law Walter McGregor and grandson Gerald Johnston. Dorothy was born in Govan, SK on September 9, 1907. Mom lived her married life in Mafeking and was very involved in St. Margarets Anglican Church and was a Charter Member of the Ladies Legion Auxiliary No. 93. She later moved to Lac du Bonnet in 1987 and in 1995 to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage. She loved to read, crochet, sew and make quilts. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. from Paull Funeral Home, Swan River, MB with Rev. Nigel Packwood officiating. Interment in the family plot in the Birchwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott McGregor, Floyd Cottrell, Kenneth Johnston, Ronald Johnston, Lloyd Johnston and Mark Johnston. If friends so desire memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, Lac du Bonnet, MB or to the St. Margarets Anglican Church, Mafeking.
