MARGARET REIMER 1917 - 2001 On Monday, February 19, 2001 at Steinbach Bethesda Hospital, Margaret Reimer passed away at the age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ron (Anna) of Goshen, Indiana, Allen (Marina) Steinbach, Mervin (Velma) of Steinbach, Darlene of Steinbach, Carol (Waldon) Koop of Brandon; and ten grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Reimer in 1979, and daughter Leona and son Milton in their childhoods. Mom and Dad farmed in the Steinbach area for most of their married lives. Mom enjoyed farm life and remained on the farm till recently when she moved into Oakwood Place in Blumenort. Mom will be remembered for the loving care she showed to her children and grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23 at the Blumenort Evangelical Mennonite Church at 11:00 a.m. in Blumenort. We, the family, wish to extend our gratitude to Dr. Myron Thiessen, the nursing staff at Bethesda Hospital Palliative Care, and to the home care staff.
