Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH ELLEN TAGGART Peacefully on January 11, 2001 at the Douglas Campbell Lodge, Portage la Prairie, Edith Ellen Taggart, widow of the late William Taggart, passed away at the age of 94 years. Edith was born in Yorkshire, England on February 9, 1906. She moved with her family to Rocanville, SK in 1912. As an adult she moved to Winnipeg where she met and married William Taggart. Predeceased by her husband William in 1958; her parents; sisters, Violet Townsend and Mary Acton; brothers, Stephen, Tom (Mable), George, and Francis Outhwaite; and sister-in-law Florence Outhwaite. She leaves to mourn her passing daughters, Barbara (Allan) McCartney of Macdonald, MB and Patricia (Mervin) Roach of Harrison Hot Springs, BC; grandchildren, Lesley (Eric), Gregg (Robin), Curt (Dawn), and Karen (Garrett) four great-grandchildren; brother Charlie of Moosomin, SK; sisters-in-law, Henrietta of Rocanville, Nellie of Virden, MB; and brother-in-law Leason Acton of Brandon, MB; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A family interment will take place at a later date. If friends so wish, donations may be made to the Douglas Campbell Lodge, 150-9th Street S.E., Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 3T6 or the Arlington Street Gospel Chapel, 603 Arlington St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 1Z6.
