JAMES RODERICK MacLEOD January 19, 1922 - January 11, 2001 Peacefully on Thursday, January 11 at the McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay, ON, Jim passed into the hands of the Lord, his Saviour. Jim had been a life long resident of Quibell, ON. His great love was the outdoors and he spent many years trapping as a hunting and fishing guide and as a prospector. Jim was predeceased by his mother Mae and his father James and carried on as proprietor of MacLeods General Store. All who knew Jim will truly miss his kind and gentle nature. A big thank you to all his friends who have helped him through these past years, especially to Harry and Betty Rob, Les Plomp and Bruce Campbell. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Vermillion Bay, ON at 11:00 a.m. January 22. Interment will follow at the Quibell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
