ELIAS LEMON (1911 - 2001) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Elias Lemon, on January 12, 2001. Elias was predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline. They shared 55 years of marriage and many happy memories with their family in their home on Ashburn Street. They especially enjoyed trips to Hawaii in their retirement. He will be sadly missed by his son Elias and daughter-in-law Sandra; his daughter Irene Heiman and son-in-law Barrie, and his only grandson Mathew Heiman. Elias enjoyed sports, growing up in the North End, he played baseball and soccer. He enjoyed boxing and was a longtime billiards player. He will be remembered for his humourous stories, enthusiasm and his singing. The family would like to thank Marion Dunn, the special people at Lions Place Adult Day Club, Lions Place and the Seven Oaks Hospital for all their care and compassion. A Private Interment has taken place in Brookside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Eliass memory to a charity of ones choice.
