Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERONIKA REGINA DEMERECKAS On Saturday, January 13, 2001, at Health Sciences Centre, Veronika Demereckas, aged 58 years. Veronika was born in Lithuania and came to Canada in 1949. She was a member of St. Casimirs Lithuanian Roman Catholic Church, the Independent Living Resource Centre and a past participant in Manitoba Wheelchair Sports. Veronika leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Ona, sister Danute (Garry) Skolny, niece Carrie (Michael) Mainella, great-niece Gabrielle, numerous relatives in U.S.A. and Lithuania. She was predeceased by her father Juozas in 1981. Prayers will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, also at the chapel, with Msgr. M. Comeault officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
