STEVEN LEOCHKO Peacefully, at the Concordia Hospital on January 13, 2001, Steven Leochko passed away at the age of 80 years. Steven was predeceased by his parents, Wasyl and Anna; his brothers, Mike who was killed in action, Walter (Slim), and Fred; sister Lena Gorgitz (Bohdan). Left to cherish his memory are sister Jane (John) Pernerowski; niece Sherry (Tom) Pedlow, and nephews, Michael (Karen) and Billy Leochko, Gary (Terry), Ronnie (Monique), and Donnie (Julie) Pernerowski and Taras and Boris Gorgitz. Steven was born and raised in Poplarfield, MB. At a young age Steven left home to work on the railroad. Steven moved back and forth working various jobs until his retirement where he settled in Winnipeg in the early 1980s. The family would like to thank Dr. Kuegle and his staff at the Concordia Hospital for their kindness and support. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Wednesday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
