MARIE-ANGE HENRIETTE BAZINET (nee PETIT) Nous announcons avec grand regret, la mort de maman, grandmere et grand-grandmere, Marie-Ange. Agee de 89 ans, elle est decedee paisiblement a lhopital general de Saint Boniface le 14 janvier, 2001. Marie-Ange naquit a La Broquerie, Manitoba, le 19 avril, 1911. Maman avait une grande devotion a la Sainte Vierge-Marie. Elle etait lame et le coeur de sa famille et tout en elevant cette famille, elle se devouait a participer activement au Dames de Sainte Anne. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; trois filles, Denise (Laurent Aquin) et Marie-Anne Siguardson de St. Vital, Simone de Saint Boniface, quatre fils, Henri (Annette) de Los Angeles, Califournie, Roland (Raymonde) de St. Vital, Rene (Patricia) de Bainsville, Ontario, Emile de Mississauga, Ontario, 16 petits-enfants, Roger, Gisele, Gerald, Marc (Denise) Ronald, Claude, Jo-Anne, Monique (Marie-Anne) Robert, Patrick, Mona, Di-Ann (Henri), Michelle, Raymond (Rolande), Nicole, Jacques (Renee), et 17 arriere petits-enfants. Marie-Ange fut precede de son epoux, Louis Bazinet en 1985, une fille, Jeanne et un fils Jean en 1944, ses parents Joseph et Victoria Petit, trois soeurs Bertha, Yvonne et Alice et cinq freres, Edmond, Maurice, Emile, Prospere et Arthur. Elle laisse aussi, plusieurs nieces, neveux et amis. Elle sera exposee le mercredi, 17 janvier, 2001, a 7 pm en la Cathedrale de Saint Boniface, suivie de la messe de funeraille. Monsieur labbe Leo Couture presidera la ceremonie assiste des abbes Dionne et Jean. Roger Aquin et Michelle Bazinet seront lecteurs. Les petits-enfants, Gisele LaFreniere, Ronald Lemire, Robert Bazinet, Raymond Bazinet, Jacques Bazinet et Gerald Aquin seront porteurs. Au gre de la famille, un enterrement prive aura lieu au "Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens", Chemin #59. Au lieu de fleurs, les amis sils le desirent, peuvent faire un don a la Societe Canadienne du Cancer, (division Manitobaine), 193 rue Sherbrooke, Winnipeg, Mb, R3C 2B7. Coutu, directeur de funerailles. 253 5086 It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Marie-Ange, who passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years at the St. Boniface General Hospital on January 14, 2001. Marie-Ange was born in La Broquerie, Manitoba on April 19, 1911. Mom had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She will be fondly remembered by her children, three daughters, Denise (Laurent Aquin), Marie-Anne Sigurdson both of St. Vital and Simone of St. Boniface, four sons, Henri (Annette) of Los Angeles, California, Roland (Raymonde) of St. Vital, Rene (Patricia) of Bainsville, Ontario, Emile of Mississauga, Ontario; 16 grandchildren, Roger, Gisele, Gerald, Marc (Denise), Ronald, Claude, JoAnne, Monique (Marie-Anne), Robert, Patrick, Mona, Di-Ann (Henri), Michelle, Raymond (Roland), Nicole, Jacques (Rene) and 17 great-grandchildren. Marie-Ange was predeceased by her husband Louis Bazinet in 1985, a daughter Jeanne and a son Jean in 1944, her parents, Joseph and Victoria Petit; three sisters Bertha, Yvonne and Alice; five brothers, Edmond, Maurice, Emile, Prosper, and Arthur. She leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. When raising her family, mother participated in "les Dames de Ste. Anne". Mother was the heart and strength of her family. She has left an indelible mark with a fierce independence on her children and has been a precious gift to all who knew her. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 Cathedrale followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 7:30 p.m.with Father Leo Couture presiding, Father Dionne and Father Jean assisting. A private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, Highway 59. The readings will be read by Roger Aquin and Michelle Bazinet. Pallbearers will be grandchildren Gisele LeFreniere, Ronald Lemire, Robert Bazinet, Raymond Bazinet, Jacques Bazinet and Gerald Aquin. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
