MARIE E. BOOTH Suddenly on Tuesday, January 16, 2001, at Health Sciences Centre, Marie Booth passed away with her family at her side. Marie was predeceased by her husband Frank in January 1968; parents, Dora Hudey in January 1978 and Michael Hudey in May 1981; brother John in 1969; brother Peter in 1978; sister Helen Simonite in April 1992; brother Stan in January 1998; and sister Ann Dirks in May 1998. She leaves to cherish her memory brother Steve (Ceone) of Brandon, brother Walter of Snow Lake; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Marie was employed by Beaver Foods for over 15 years, until her retirement in 1987. After retirement, she enjoyed such things as reading and gatherings with family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Maries family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Health Sciences Centre (7 South) for their excellent care.
