LILLIE GRACE MATHILDA (TILLIE) SAWCHUK (nee TORGERSON) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandma, great-grandma, auntie and best friend. Suddenly on January 16, 2001, Tillie passed away at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, at the age of 85 years. She is survived by one brother Gus in Winnipeg. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Walter (Evelyn) and Alex of Winnipeg; also two daughters, Shirley of Lundar, Alice (Jack) of Winnipeg; half-sisters, Bina, Annie, Viola and Gloria and a half-brother Lloyd; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John on January 22, 1988, and a brother Arnold and sister Gunnie. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, at the Lundar Legion Hall in Lundar with Rev. Shirley Russell officiating. Service will conclude at the hall with interment to be held at a later date. You were always there when we needed you, No task too great or small. With a loving heart and a willing hand, For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, For all the dreams we shared, We only pray when you left us, That you knew how much we cared.
