TREVOR WILLIS WILLIAMS, M.D. March 10, 1932 - January 16, 2001 Our precious husband, father and grandfather, Trevor Willis Williams passed into the presence of His Lord on January 16, 2001. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Betty; his children, Jeffrey, Jennifer and husband Chuck, Heather and Carolyn; his special grandchildren, Nicholas, Gregory and Emily Rose, who brought great joy to his life, and his brothers, Maurice in Scotland, Raymond in Zambia, Alan in Ireland, Edward in England; his sister Ruth in Ireland and their families. Trevor was born in Dublin, Ireland, graduating from Trinity College as a Medical Doctor. He immigrated to St. Johns, Newfoundland, in 1957 and worked with the Department of Public Health. In the early 1970s, he practiced as Pediatrician in Winnipeg and then began work for Cadham Provincial Lab with Dr. Jack Wilt, where he began as the Assistant Director in Microbiology and Virology. He was the Director of Lab and X-Ray Services for over 20 years and Director of Cadham Lab for the last five years. He retired in June, 2000. As a young man, Trevor accepted the Lord as his Savior and from then on served Him faithfully. He was an elder at St. James Gospel Chapel and a well-respected speaker at the chapel and at Faith Bible Camp. A private burial will take place on Friday. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19 at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Dr. If friends so desire contributions may be made to the St. James Gospel Chapel Building Fund, 337 Inglewood St., Winnipeg R2J 1X1 or to the Union Gospel Mission, P.O.
