During Lens early years, he was a Canadian Champion cyclist and avid sportsman. Lens favourite place on earth was his beloved cottage on Falcon Lake where he enjoyed the company of friends and family of which he had many fond memories. His thoughts were often with his wife Doris who passed away in 1988. Len resided at Richmond Gardens for the last several years and enjoyed playing cribbage (and skunking the competition) and the company of his many friends there. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20, at 3:00 p.m. in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street. Len will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
