Predeceased by a sister Margaret, he is survived by his loving wife Margaret (Ardythe) son Michael (Kathy) daughters, Linda (Bob) Dymont; Colleen (Bill) Wright; brother Robert (Carol) sisters, Audrey (Harold) Woolley; Dorothy (Peter) Plett; Joan McGuire; grand and great grand children; along with many family and friends. George served 25 years in the R.C.N. through the Second World War and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the CPOs Association and RCL Branch 172. Under a loud and brusque facade those that knew George are left with fond memories of his kind, loyal and strong willed nature. No service at Georges request. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Georges name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CPOs Association.
