Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR MALMAS After a brief illness with cancer, on Thursday, January 18, 2001, at the Riverview Health Centre, Arthur Malmas, beloved husband of Gladys of Meadows, MB, passed away at the age of 66 years. Besides his loving wife Gladys, he leaves to cherish his memory his step-children, Wayne Kosmick, Dawn and husband Stuart Kletke; grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Aryn and Samantha Kletke; sister Svea Cook; nephews, Glen and Brad Brown and Randy and Trevor Cook. Arthur was born on May 2, 1934 in Meadows, the eldest child of Pete and Avlina Malmas who have predeceased him. He farmed most of his life, just retiring in 2000. Arthur recently took up camping and enjoyed to dance. He will be missed by his dog Nikki. At Arthurs request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 600 Cambridge St., with Pastor Rick Sauer officiating. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on GD3 Ward, Health Sciences Centre and 3E Staff, Riverview Health Centre. If so desired, donations in Arthurs memory may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arthur will be greatly missed. He was a loving and caring husband, good brother, caring and sharing uncle, terrific Papa, a true friend, and was liked by all.
