ALEXANDER (ALEX) RIENCH Suddenly, on Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at his residence, Alex, age 79 years, beloved husband of the late Irene Riench of Winnipeg, MB. Alex was in the army from 1939 to 1945. He was then employed in various Grain Mills throughout Winnipeg until his retirement in 1986. Alex loved gardening and spending time outside in his yard. He is survived by his three poodles, Honey, Teddy and Cookie who will miss him greatly; three sisters, Elsie Stupak, Evelyn Litke, and Violet Broda; one brother Harry Riench; numerous nieces, nephews and by numerous relatives and friends, especially Rudy and Josie Bernjak. Besides his wife Irene, he was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. In compliance with Alexs wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date with interment in St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Rd., Winnipeg. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Alexs memory to the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
