Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARILYN ROSE LIBBY (nee ZAPORZON) Marilyn Rose Libby of Dauphin, Man., passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, Man., at the age of 61 years. Marilyn was born on August 24, 1939 at Vernon, B.C., to David and Mabel (Chrysler) Zaporzon. She received her education at the Saltfleet High School, Stoney Creek, Ont., and then attended the McMaster University at Hamilton, Ont., where she earned her B. Sc. in Nursing. Marilyn later continued with her education when she attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. In was on July 1, 1967 at the Philpott Memorial Church in Hamilton, Ont., that Marilyn was united in marriage to Richard Libby. Over the years, Marilyn worked in her chosen profession of Nursing with the Victoria Order of Nurses in Hamilton, Ont., Visiting Nurses Association, Kansas City, Missouri and more recently at the Dauphin Personal Care Home, Dauphin, Man. She was a member of the Dauphin Community Band as well as having served as President of the Dauphin Festival of the Performing Arts for a number of years. Marilyns faith was a very important part of her life and she consistently showed this through her involvement in many Church ministries. She was very active in Children and Music Ministries at Philpott Memorial Church, Hamilton, Ont., Southwest Bible Church, Prairie Village, Kansas, Parkside Gospel Church, Dauphin, Man., Grace Baptist Church, Ochre River, Man., and the Grace Bible Church, Dauphin, Man. Marilyn was predeceased by her Father David Zaporzon on November 13, 1987 and her brother Philip Zaporzon on October 14, 1972. Left to mourn her passing and to cherish fond memories are her Husband Rev. Richard Libby of Dauphin; Mother Mrs. Mabel Zaporzon of Dauphin, Man.; Son David Libby and Fiancee Suzanna Rempel of Winnipeg, Man.; Daughters, Maryanne and her husband Brian Nacy of Curnavaaca, Mexico, Ruth-Lynne Libby of Winnipeg. Also surviving is one brother David Zaporzon and his wife Flora of Binbrook, Ont. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grace Bible Church, Dauphin, Man. Rev. Charles Wolff and Rev. Robert Amende will officiate with interment to follow in the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Maxwell Kaufman, Ken Buhler, Ray Buhler, Harold Aitken, Len Peters and Archie Henry.
